# Transformation Office

The central function that plans, governs, and drives an enterprise transformation and reports on its progress and value.

A transformation office (sometimes a Strategy Realization Office) is the nerve center of a major change program. It owns the roadmap, coordinates workstreams and dependencies, runs governance, and holds delivery accountable to the transformation’s targets.

Its defining challenge is visibility at scale: keeping an accurate, real-time picture across many initiatives while proving that the transformation is delivering the value it promised.
