Başar is an Associate Director at AEQUITA in the Operations unit, where he helps companies translate strategic priorities into measurable value creation.
Prior to AEQUITA, Başar spent seven years at Henkel Construction Adhesive Technologies, most recently as Head of Strategy & Transformation. In this role, he led strategy development, drove M&Ainitiatives, and supported business transformation. Before joining Henkel, he spent eight years as a management consultant, delivering strategy and performance improvement projects, primarily for the chemical industry.
Başar holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from RWTH Aachen University. He also completed executive education in Corporate Finance at Harvard Business School and in Mergers & Acquisitions at Imperial College Business School.
